Wellness Experiences in Virtual Reality
Overview

Objective: Develop immersive VR wellness experiences that transport the viewer into guided journeys around the world with wellness practitioners in local communities.
Client: EsVedra is a global community of wellness content creators offering locally-driven, science-backed experiences to users around the world through the EsVedra App.
My Role: I have been collaborating with ISM Arts & Culture as UX researcher and designer to develop and prototype immersive 3D wellness solutions for the emerging market.
Due to the confidentiality aspects of the project I'm not able to share the details of the research at this moment. Here is the list of design methods that I have been using so far.
-> Secondary research
-> Ethnographic research
-> UX competitive analysis
-> SWOT analysis
-> Surveys
-> Brainstorming
-> Moodboard
-> User Scenario
-> CJM (Customer Journey Mapping)
-> Blueprints
-> User Flows
-> Wireframes
I have been working with the design team, business development, to sketch out the user experience, user flow and blueprints. My main responsibility after this phase was developing the journey maps, wireframes that led to a low-fidelity prototype, while other team members created the VR scenes and meditation audio files. I worked in compliance with the Developers constraints in order to create a design which is possible for development and running the user test.
I have planed unmoderated and moderated usability tests, set up the test plans, recruiting participants, created surveys, interview question, , .
This is an ongoing project, stay tuned for the progress and if you have any questions regarding this project, please feel free to contact me!
